's and comments ! @ all that ask how i made it, im not 100% sure anymore but the earth has ~5 rendered layers with 8k earth map and a nightmap a few falloff maps, composited in ps, can be that the atmo is a combo of ps glow and rendered 3d atmo, cloud map is composed of a few sky photos. the starmap i still dont like
and at the cloud layer is still something to fix.. i hate textures that dont fit on spheres i think the raytracing shadows from the cloud map did a good job
btw the water is a shader.

Wow! You can practically see it revolving. It's a cool illusion.
And I'm surprised this isn't just a regular space photo. It's so real it's hyperreal. And it looks wonderfully solid in a way pictures of Earth don't often look.

It's great how you got daytime, nighttime, street lights AND clouds...It is really hard to get cloud layers to render and you did a great job. Absolutely gorgeous as wallpaper. I love having darker edges, particularly the left side, for icons. Rather simple to look at, yet a stunning piece of art to stare at every time I turn on the computer
