Description The quality is not the best since my scanner is not the best, so sorry about that. I took this photo before I had a digital camera ^^

I promised my friend ~Bafa to post an Irish softcoated wheaten terrier, so here it is

I find them here and there and pretty much everywhere. On dogshows, during walks, at dogevents and so on Owners are mostly more than happy to let me take some photos.

We have quite a different system in Europe I think, with breedgroups and so on. There's really only two types of dogshows (well, then there are the unofficial ones, only for training and fun) - national and international shows, all according to FCI.
In national ones you can get a CAC (certification) and in international ones you can get a CAC + a CACIB (international certification).
Your dog will need 3 CAC to become a champion in your country. The last one must be awarded after 24 months.
You'll need 4 CACIB to become international champion, in at least 2 different countries.
Perhaps you are familiar with our rules already?
I am sorry to say I am not at all familiar with the AKC-rules.
What dogs do you show?

Oh! I didn't even realize you were in Europe... I feel silly haha

I show Petits Basset Griffon Vendeens, Great Danes, German Shepherds, Cardigan Welsh Corgis, English Mastiffs...
I am a professional handler so I actually handle quite a variety of breeds. It's wonderful!

Wow, I've read about professional handlers! To me it sounds like you must have your hands full! But it must be fun at the same time ^^
We don't really have anything of the kind here in Sweden, not that I'm aware of anyway. It's almost always the owners who show their dogs. I always show my Zodd and I love it. I love dogshows

I just started my professional handling career last August, I've been showing dogs as since I was age 5. It's my life
I went to a dog show in Finland once, it was fun, very different though

How cool!

Do you ever see any Tibetan Mastiffs in dogshows?

No, not yet anyways. They aren't recognized by AKC yet. I think they are working on it though!
