We have quite a different system in Europe I think, with breedgroups and so on. There's really only two types of dogshows (well, then there are the unofficial ones, only for training and fun) - national and international shows, all according to FCI.
In national ones you can get a CAC (certification) and in international ones you can get a CAC + a CACIB (international certification).
Your dog will need 3 CAC to become a champion in your country. The last one must be awarded after 24 months.
You'll need 4 CACIB to become international champion, in at least 2 different countries.
Perhaps you are familiar with our rules already?
I am sorry to say I am not at all familiar with the AKC-rules.
What dogs do you show?

Oh! I didn't even realize you were in Europe... I feel silly haha
I show Petits Basset Griffon Vendeens, Great Danes, German Shepherds, Cardigan Welsh Corgis, English Mastiffs...
I am a professional handler so I actually handle quite a variety of breeds. It's wonderful!

No, not yet anyways. They aren't recognized by AKC yet. I think they are working on it though!
