Flygon doesn't need goggles! He's so awesome that he is just naturally born with them!
(well... actually evolves them naturally is more accurate...)I don't know what he does when he has itchy eyes, though... Guess coolness comes at a price.
Yeah. This was a nice little break from my studying. But it's time to get back to work. Enjoy!

I love how you drew Flygon. When I first saw his eyes, I thought it was some sort of a eye accessory, until I learned more.

Hmmm... Whenever I think of Flygon, I tend think of it as a sort of giant bug as opposed to this "LOL Desert DWRAGUN", in which its "eye shields" are more of it's actual eyes... If that makes any sense.

Well considering it's previous evo's looking like bugs I see where you're coming from. If it weren't for the fact that there are a pair of eyes visible through the lenses, you would have bought me on the "being part of the eyes" thing.

True, I did have one which wasn't drawn super "realistically" (since I feel half of the time, it's more about "how grotesque can I be" rather than realism, especially since reality isn't always as realistic as some think).
You know what, I think I'm going to draw a Flygon like a bug now...

perhaps the lenses are like second external eyelids that open when they want to look at something close, and shut to keep debris away from their eyes when flying
