Description my first TG2 image that I like. I did some postwork on the large mountain because there was some weird cloud thing going on that I didn't like.
Soem color correction aswell.
Started as a file from Melting Ice, I thank his for it, now I have a better understand of basic displacement

like the terrain, but i think i would imagine rocks like that to stand in more of a deserted landscape instead of near so much water and with snow on top. great render anyway

I don't think the lightning of the big mountains is right.. somehow it seems of. The over concept is good though and the water has gr8 coloring!

Yeah, the big mountain looks like this because there are rays going in front of it. I was hoping it would look a little darker, and more solid, but alas after a 12 hour render (for a very small res) I doubt I'll try again. Thanks for the comment.

Thanks mate, I'm not sure if it's the best here, it's a pretty simple render (I'm a really slow learner) but I am glad you think this looks like my work
When I have more time, I will work more on TG2

No problem, actually you're right, the connection here is a little harsh due to 2 factors. 1. this tech preview doesn't have any transparencies, which means the water is essentially a wavy mirror. . .
2. I don't know how to surface properly with TG2 yet, so the surfacing is simple, with better surfacing, the shore line would look a lot better
