Smashing piece. I too love the fact the planet has two distinct colours to it. That makes it stand out from the crowd immediately.

The moon shadow and the planet shadow look like they are from a slightly different direction. My mate is looking over my shoulder and he disagrees so it might be just me.

Looks good, especially all those nebula thingies. The only thing I'm not sure is that moon. It's shadow seems too dark for me, 'coz that big planet should be reflecting the sunlight and portion of this reflected light should fall onto the moon's surface. But that's only my humble opinion, you can ignore this comment

thanks for the comment. I'm really just starting and learning technique, so things like proper reflections don't really come into my mind yet. . .hopefully I'll get better and learn to do that kind of things I hope

Actually, I'm trying to avoid all these moons in front of a planet, like here. It's not so easy to make 'em look good.

beautiful colors, and i love the way you have that weird pink dust coming up off of the smaller planet (moon?) on the right
what i find to be a bit of a pity is the way on the main planet the color goes so abruptly from that really lovely warm tone to wham! cool aqua blue!!
the colors are amazing, just maybe make the transition a bit more progressive
you're doing great for what you call a beginner
