It's clear as ice as to why this piece is declared as your all time favourite and as well representing how you have shown a tremendious amount of improvements in the creations of your work. It is a nice break from previous material you've created and adds a great deal of potentials is seeing how you can work in different forms. What works here is your own illustrative format of drawing anatomy and presenting the character. The simplicity of the design and clean format of your drawing abilities is something to be admired by.
It will be interesting to see you approach a design again in a digital format in the future sometime.

w00t! My first comment from my good old master !
Yes I tried to draw something else than Shrine the hedgehog, and draw something else like manga stuff. Megaman may be a VG char like Sonic and co, but he's always drawn in manga style, which is more or less a universal way to draw.
Still, I did not create Megaman so don't worry, I'll keep up with original stuff later. This is just some piece of fan art.
