I dunno you guys.I was planning on making this a part of that 'Sup Guy Comic [WIP] thingy but this is what happened.
I found this very symbolic to the ways of the Cry-verse somehow.
Curse my creepy style of drawing.
Also, a happy late new years to you peoples.

This really hits home for him and those of us that know damn well he's human. It's just sad, that people make such an epic deal to turn a simple man, who plays games to comfort himself to some deity that needs to be worshipped 24/7 then get pissy when he doesn't respond to them in like 5 seconds.Β
And its why I made a video about this situation of not only Cry but for all YouTubers that get effected like this, their privacy torn away by fans that want them to constantly dance for them like puppets. :/

I know I may act kinda like a crazy obsessive fangirl at times, but hey, I'm trying my best to not turn out like the crazy negative bunch of the fandom...dunno if it's working.
I send him messages/draw fanart for him fer stuff like that.
Also I don't want him to be forced or think that his fans should expect a lot out of him.
He is only one guy. One simple man doing already a bunch of shit for his fandom.

I didn't mean to say you were. I was just making an observation that the drawing holds true to what's there. Fans thrusting games, yaoi fanfics, fanfics, drawings and demands and expecting him to respond to their 'kindness'. They do it for recognition from him. Which isn't right when people ought to know he gets stuff like that by the thousands hourly.Β
What fans ought to do is just make art or fics, music to cheer him on, raise his spirits and not give a damn if he favorites or responds to it.Β
At least to me that's what fans are for.Β
To enjoy the admired's content, help him if he's troubled about something, nothing like about private things though. Cheer them up when they're down, tell them you're patient and understand they're needs to step back and breathe.Β
A fan is a supporter of that person, not make it worse for them with demands and curses for not getting on their good graces like their friends. We're strangers to the person, who are we to judge their friends and be jealous?
Hell, I'm a bit of an obsessive fangirl myself, like you, but we both and many others do know where the boundaries Cry places. Thousands of others ignore those boundaries which is why Cry withdraws and becomes angry by that. Why he lashes out at fans at times, because those fans do not respect him as a person but by his 'fame and reputation'. That's all they're after.Β
I'm not white knighting for Cry. The man is grown and can take care of himself on spats. To me White knights think everyone and I do mean everyone but Cry is a threat to the guy. (Like PETA of the fandoms) White Knights believe only they are worthy to be by their 'god's side and everyone else can go fuck themselves.Β
And those True Fans bs don't fly with me either. There are no such thing as a 'True Fan'. To be a 'True Fan' in my own definition, is that you only like that one fandom, or person, or show, game, book and nothing else. 24/7 you only think about that one fandom. You do not like anyone else around that one person. You do not like crossovers or games or watch anything else but that one thing.Β
Like say Doctor Who for an example. A 'True Fan' of Β DW is someone that watches nothing but DW. Now tell me, does that sound fun? For a while it is, I mean shit, if someone loves DW tey'll go for the marathon of DW... but after while... wouldn't you like to watch something else?Β
We're fans, we dabble in everything that catches our interest, thus not 'true fans' of anything really. We're the jack of trades kind of people, not masters of fandoms.Β
Now again, I'm not speaking for Cry as he can do it himself, but as a fan of his too, I'm not white knighting any other fan of Cry. But all I ask is that as a fandom as a whole, a YouTuber fan, take the obsession down a notch, realize these are people, they got shit to do outside the net that doesn't need us riding their asses about videos.Β

I actually really enjoy them because I rarely get them and I feel very loved, I enjoy reading them and I really love how people put their heart into them.
I don't know for sure what I am to Cry.
I also know I'm into many fandoms and true, there is no "True Fan" thingy.
I know there are fans like yourself out here and again it is rare to meet people like you who will actually point this out and tell it like it is.
I wish more will realize this in fandoms but people don't really get the message.
Hell, if I ever get a fandom I hope people fucking know this before the chaos starts.
Oh, and if you post this shizz on tumblr or twitter with the "Cry Tags" the message may somehow get across.
Also if you don't mind my short reply and stuffs, I hope you know that you make a very good statement across to me and not only to me but you represent the many fans of the whole Cryaotic Fandom that get this dealio of what it means to be one's fan.

That's something none of will know at this rate. While he doesn't not see us all as fans (as that would, in his mind, acknowledge that he's famous and place himself on a pedestal) as he prefers to be just a normal down to earth guy. And i wouldn't say 'friends' either, probably Viewers, as we just watch what he does on videos and listen to his voice and slowly get to know him through his reactions. But We will never know what he does think of us truly until he opens up. And with all this craziness and his own social anxiety that's probably a secret only known to him and those of his friends.Β
I know, it really pisses me off to see a lot of the 'You're not a True Fan of so and so' on comments and stuff. I mean, really its a fandom, not a cult in thinking that Cry will lead us to salvation by pestering him into insanity. We're not in Silent Hill, people.Β
I think its rare to see fans that do take Cry's feelings and life into consideration because it just pisses off most other fans and apparently label them as White Knights. Which is not the fans do. White Knights are aggressive and insulting everyone, be it other fans or even his friends or family (or any YouTuber's friends and family) and often believe they 'speak' for him. They're pretty easy to spot too. The thing is, White Knights 'defend' their beloved YouTubers (or whomever they 'worship') in fights with such ferocity that it usually causes divides in fandoms.Β
I sound like I'm whiting knighting, but really, I'm not defending him in a spat between other fans, but the 'Common Sense' fans (I have no idea how to word it) do what it is we do best. We just talk rationally and point out the obvious chaos with common sense. No fighting, arguing or insulting just common sense about why YouTubers do what they do.Β
A lot of fans either don't realize the problem their demands are doing, or intentionally ignoring it. If it doesn't fit in their perfect idea of a fandom, then it doesn't exist. Which pisses me off more, in knowing some fans out there know exactly how the chaos is affecting the YouTuber but just doesn't care as long as the videos are being cranked out and still trying to get their attentions. It's like the media, circling the target like vultures and picking at it as long as it remains in the ranks of 'rich and famous'. Which is why fame is a double edge sword. You get to entertain people, make their lives better by making them laugh and smile... but then over time, those same skills to bring joy to others, become shackles Β when the crowd becomes restless and obsessive. Creepy really. ._.
And no problem, I've seen a few artworks here in dA that show how tired and drained and on the edge Cry is. Even though we don't see it, we can hear it in his tone, the way he speaks, his actions on his playthroughs. Until he snaps and leaves a rant/vent on his tumblr.Β
The artwork will make a difference, just like I believe my video will do the same. Many times, small things is all it takes to make a difference. :3

I believe, though not sure if its right, that Cry stays strong under all of that because its his only escape from his fears of reality, the true horrors, his way to reach out to others and try to get over his anxiety little by little. If he stops then he believes he gave up on himself. I think he knows there are fans that do understand him a little, giving him space when he needs it and all that but doesn't see them much because they're drowned out by the thousands of others.Β
Its kinda why I kinda think of Cry when I listen to I'm Still Here from the movie Treasure Planet. ^^ it fits him until I find another song that has kind of the same effect.

I'm beginning to have a "anti-social" thing building here since I'm beginning to not really chat with peoples or others that much and isolate myself in a room or a space of my own.
I know some of the few that are drowned in this ocean may be you and I for one.

It's easy to slip into the anti-social state. It's a bitch to get out of it. Hell, I can barely talk in public without having that urge to just run and hide, or having a game or music to keep my mind off that there's people near by that I don't know. Hell I don't know more than half my family and I hardly speak to them as well because there's nothing in common between us to get an anchor in. And I don't like being disturbed when I'm on the computer or drawing or anything when I'm alone. I don't have a severe case like Cry, but shit, I'm so shy to talk to anyone face to face that I will hide behind my own little brother and have him talk to them first before I do.Β
I haven't seen it in forever too, but I remember moments in the movie still. And I have the Soundtrack, so I could listen to the song at any time. ^^
