Description

The Neglect Of StarClan is a story surrounding three young apprentices, one from each Clan (JadeClan, ObsidianClan, and JasperClan), who suffer unfortunate luck and are therefore neglected by their Clan. The title “Neglect Of StarClan” comes from the three apprentices agreeing that StarCan abandoned them three to suffer and die, thus not being the glorious StarClan they were raised to believe.

- Jetpaw is a jet-black tom with icy-blue eyes
- He is a young tom born to his former JadeClan mother (now exiled), Sootflower, and loner father, Slither
-He was born with three other siblings, Nightkit, Smokekit, and Logkit, who all died shortly after being born, leaving him as the sole surviving kit of his litter
- JadeClan treats Jetpaw poorly because of his father being an outsider and the Clan believes that the death of this three other siblings was an omen from StarClan

- Thornpaw is a tall, dark brown tabby tom with black stripes and a white throat, deep scars rake down his blind, amber eyes
- He is the youngest kit born to his ObsidianClan mother, Swiftstorm, and father, Mudleap, and is the younger brother to older brother, Blazepaw and older sister, Amberpaw
- As a kit, Thornpaw had wandered away from camp and a large lizard clawed at his eyes, blinding him. In reaction to this, ObsidianClan neglect Thornpaw for his disability and his own family disowned and make fun of him

- Russetpaw is a large, white-and-dark ginger tabby she-cat with green eyes and a long tail
- She is the only kit born to JasperClan mother, Mistybreeze, and deputy father, Lionstorm
- Due to being the only kit and her father being deputy of JasperClan, her parents uphold her to their high standards and expectations, wanting nothing less and forcing Russetpaw to fit into the role of her father's successor
