Yay, another drawing of Yukon!
And this time she's together, with her dearest companions... they should be catfish, but I've failed a bit with that. :')
Each of them looks like another species, the one on Yukon's back for example, looks rather like a carp.
But just let's pretend that they are catfish, after all, they are the first fish I've draw since years,
and it was damn hard to define their unfamiliar faces, so I can be thankful that they look like fish at all.
To say a few words about the background; I've been studying many freshwater scenarios lately, as they fit naturally to Yukon.
Here I tried to paint a blurred, and yet multi faceted and detailed background, a combination that is difficult for me.
But for underwater scenarios, is this a very nice and realistic technique, and I'm happy, how good it has worked.
Acrylics, Gouache and Colored Pencils on A4 Bristol Paper.

Amazing, you did an awesome job on the movement of those catfish, and they look fine to me!
The light shining through from the surface of the water is brilliantly done! The overall background is great.
However, Yukons face herself, looks a bit odd to me, her head seems also a little small, and her headband seems rather tight here in combination with her hair, I still love the piece very much though! Hoping to be a bit constructive!

I've invested a lot of time into them, so is your appreciation very nice for me!
Also thank you for the kind words about the background, it's amazing, but dramatically incident light,
can make so much with the atmosphere. (I hope I will not overuse this newly discovered gimmick.) XD
Your criticism is quite justified, to draw faces from the side, is simply still something that makes me trouble.
The one with the hair and the headband was intention though, but in retrospect it looks strange, I agree absolutely here.

Yes, you drew them very well, even if you think they all look different, some of them might resemble a carp but they look like catfish to me overall! You really did a good job!!
I can imagine, it was a challenge for me as well, and sometimes still is, but practice makes perfect, study the head of a real human and work from there
