Description
Ich krieg von dir niemals genug
Du bist in jedem Atemzug
Alles dreht sich nur um dich
Warum ausgerechnet ich?
Zähl' die Stunden, die Sekunden
Doch die Zeit scheint still zu steh'n
Hab' mich geschunden, gewunden
Lass' mich geh'n
Was willst du noch?
Willst du meine Tage zähl’n?
Warum musst du mich
Mit meiner Sehnsucht quäl’n?
Deine Hölle brennt in mir
Du bist mein Überlebenselixier
Ich bin zerrissen
Wann kommst du meine Wunden küssen?
Out of the dark
Hörst Du die Stimme, die dir sagt?
Into the light
I give up and close my eyes
Out of the dark
Hörst Du die Stimme, die dir sagt?
Into the light
I give up and you waste your tears
To the night
Ich bin bereit, denn es ist Zeit
Für unseren Pakt über die Ewigkeit
Du bist schon da, ganz nah
Ich kann dich spür’n
Lass mich verführ’n,
Lass mich entführ’n
Heute Nacht zum letzten Mal
Ergeben deiner Macht
Reich mir die Hand
Mein Leben, nenn' mir den Preis
Ich schenk dir Gestern, Heut' und Morgen
Und schließt sich der Kreis, kein Weg zurück
Das weiße Licht kommt näher, Stück für Stück
Will mich ergehen
Muss ich denn sterben
Um zu leben?
Falco - Out Of The Dark
HERE the translation
Oh Falco, you musical genius of your time!
I often hear his music lately, and that is what came out, a piece, mainly inspired by the deep song 'Out Of The Dark'.
So here we have Fenya, who playing the dying swan and Killian, who can not let her go.
Strange when I say this about such a picture, but it hasn't really a story behind it,
I only wanted to depict their psychological and physical dependence, and how it hurts both of them.
Also to be mentioned is, that the motive and atmosphere of this picture (and generally Killian's view of their situation)
are strongly inspired by Falco's song Jeanny (Lyrics Here) I just think that both songs fit wonderfully to them.
'Jeanny' is even my absolute favorite song of Falco, and therefore the legendary lines:
"Jetzt hör' ich sie, sie kommen, sie kommen um dich zu holen,
sie werden dich nicht finden, niemand wird dich finden, du bist bei mir!!"
are one to one exactly so said by Killian, as he kidnapped Fenya, and her parents sought her. (I really need to draw this scene sometime!)
But let's talk finally a bit about the background, just yay! I'm incredibly satisfied, how everything has worked here!
The combination of clear and blurred elements is something that has never worked so good in my works so far,
and I will definitely use this technique again, actually obvious, but starting with the rear layers, and working forward, works perfectly.
And no idea why I never dared to color with turquoise, because I love this color,
and it fits so well into this picture while it looks quite natural.
I'm also very happy with the way, how Fenya and Killian came out, as I still have trouble to color skin, but slowly I getting better.^^
And no idea if you can see it, but I really enjoyed painting Fenya's hair and giving it details. (Lol, of course you can, after all, I totally exaggerated in the representation of her hair, but I really don't care, because it was just so much fun)
The pose of them reminds me in their basic features, of a few works by Gustav Klimt, such as 'Der Kuss', just by the way.
Acrylics, Gouache and Colored Pencils on A4 Bristol Paper.
Here're some other drawings of my characters Fenya and Killian:
I hope you will like it!
