Description My entry for the A Day at the Beach contest hosted by

Dedicated to my friend Barbara [link] with thanks for her continuous support. She loves to read and has an incredible imagination, as evidenced by her beautiful artworks.

Owls, being of a nocturnal nature, are not usually seen at a beach on a sunny afternoon. These owls, however, decided that it was high time to flout convention and go off on an adventure… an afternoon at the beach with a book, one of life’s great pleasures…
