Ahh... the painted lines on the road...Β The gentleman has never taken a country road in England otherwise he would realise his comments were well intentioned but ultimately, wrong.Β The focus issue might be a fair point but a minor one, if you were trying to sduce me into believing this were a real image but we both you are not.. Β Β Β It is artistic and tranquil and serene.Β I hope it is a long walk back to happiness for dear Saph. In that dress I am sure I would have eyes only for her and the road..... would be but a........ blur!

Superb figure, but doesn't seem to sit realistically against the background. One thing is the sudden change from pin-sharp focus on the girl and the patch of road she's standing on to the fuzzy background. If it was a photo I'd say the depth of field was just too narrow for the composition. Also the girl seems out of scale compared to the road. A road that is important enough to have painted lines down the middle is usually at least 6 metres wide, often 7 metres yet it looks that if she were to lie down she would be almost the whole width of one lane, which makes her look like a giant.
I do love that patch of sunlight by her feet. That really works well.

euhm, that kinda depends on how you look at it.. the background is a photograph, but i placed it inside a 3d scene and started using the textures from the background on actually 3d objects.. so she is actually standing on polygons, and the trees in the back are actually mesh too.. so i can create a dof with my 3d camera.. so i guess its a composite 3d scene based on photograph.. does that make sense ?
