Nice, clean style, and as someone who also does cartography it's always a pleasure to see how something was done by looking at a map, too.
My only point of hopefully constructive criticism would be that hill the palace sits on should probably be a bit more pronounced.

it seems the elven kings are afraid of rebellion more then of invasion .. why else would they put their castle outside the city walls ..
