Totally amazing. Everything's in perfect focus, the colors are great. You can even see the compound eye bits! You deserve the first place.

WOW! This is fantastic, I love the colors, so vibrant, so crisp! Perhaps a slightly smaller f/stop, to bring the other wing into focus too, but overall very nice indeed! What camera and lens did you use? I'm looking for a new one.

Thank you.
I used the maximum f stop as the camera gives my (f/8).
I'm using a Canon PowerShot S1 and a 50mm lens in reverse position.

Gorgeous! Such sharpness. Absolutely love the textures and the contrast, they are so breathtaking. Love how the bee mirrors the yellow in the flower, and how his wings reflect the pink of the background. Just stunning. Great job.

sadly it doesn't work with canon lens... at least not mine.

I've heard that many lenses won't work very well for the reversed technique. The best lens to use is a 50mm prime lens (fixed focal length), F/1.8 or wider, and it should have symmetrical optical construction. Here's a good article on employing reversed lenses: [link]
