Another beautiful spring day, and another photo-shoot around the yard. I experimented taking photos of myself, and I absolutely loved this one. I had a lot of fun with it.
About a week ago, I decided to experiment with photo-editing techniques, and I chose this photograph for one of them. I altered the contrast, created a soft focus, changed the image to grayscale, left a faded coloring on the dogwood flower, and cropped the image. Technically, this could be a Photo manipulation, but it fit better under the Photography section. Regardless, I love how it turned out.

No, it was a self-portrait, silly! I took the picture myself (I was even holding the camera, as opposed to setting it somewhere and using a timed shot; I often find that easier).
