It is one of those names spoken with high respect and fear by both Reverends and Darkened alike. Such a name already gives off an aura of importance and implies a long legacy of doctors and hunters...
Thus being a Hellsing (or being affiliated with them) is considered a challenging task. One of which Lilith has to tolerate for all her life.
Lilith is a high ranking Commander among the Reverends and is one of the direct descendants of Abraham Van Hellsing, the legendary Hunter of Monsters. Despite often spending her time harnessing her skills, hunting alongside her Reverend lackeys, and doing what makes her live up to her family name, she somehow finds the time to go into the DepCor to check on patient records and a particular subject.
She seems to be looking for something... or someone.
