This is a page from the second issue of the comic book that I had on display for my senior capstone project. Or, rather the artwork for it.

Because I had focused my energies on having the first issue fully done, I left the other issues as process work. Here the panels have been inked in, as well as just a few of the figures. The rest has been left in my pencil work. This helped to illustrate my process from pencil to ink. How the figures were "fleshed" out in pencil, and the majority of the detail work came about during the inking process.

(( And for those of you who know your bugs, yes, I know. I chose these particular breeds of butterflies and spiders to be more symbolic than naturally accurate. ))

The comic is in black and white, and was intended to be mixed media once fully colored.
