As the title says, I am not a recolor supporter. It's totally unoriginal and I find it as FAIL! What's more annoying than a recolor? An unoriginal backstory, in my opinion. Pick up a pencil or mouse and start drawing your characters yourself. Though I admit that there exceptions, I myself made one, and ONLY one, recolor when I was little, but the idea was very unappealing and boring to me so I didn't see a real reason to continue with recolors.

Isn't your's a recolour too? A similar dress to Amy Rose but the top changed a bit and purple, pink fur and green eyes like Amy, and shoes like Tails but the main colour is blue. Got anything to say?

Yes I suppose that you can make that argument, this character of mine is pretty old and I haven't really had the time to update her design in any way. To be honest I never really noticed the actual color similarities of the fur and eye color towards Amy, though admittedly Amy was one of my fave Sonic characters at the time my character was made. Pink was also a color that I really liked and I recalled that cats could have green eyes, so I just went with it. With the shoes I just went with a generic style without putting much thought into it. I never really bothered to actively try to design unique looking shoes because at the time I thought that it didn't really matter.
This is an old piece of art that I did and my opinions towards this subject have shifted a quite a bit, which is why I get surprised at seeing this old thing still getting comments and even faves. xDΒ
Looking at it now, I have no real major gripe with recolors as characters anymore, creative or even ridiculous backstories for these characters don't really bother me either. I can see that it's a decent starting point for any fan of really anything to mimic the styling and take heavy inspirations from characters they like. My main problem with it is simply if these new artists take art that isn't theirs and literally recolor it and claim that it belongs to them. Something that you see a lot of in the Sonic fandom with recolored screenshots of the Sonic X show. If you choose to physically draw your character either on paper or on the computer, then I don't mind if it's just a green version of Sonic who is just 10x cooler than Sonic or is a failed clone or whatever,Β heck I'm even cool with people using bases or character makers as long as it gets credited to the original creator.Β It's just the art theft that bothers me.Β
This old character is probably not the most original cat in the vast sea of talented Sonic artists and their fan characters, but the point is that I drew her myself without using someone else's art. This was drawn about 4 years ago, which is like a whole other lifetime to me, (as I'm sure that the old description shows, it's a little embarrassing that I used to type like that, lol) and I keep steadily improving on my own art.Β Of course it's just my personal opinion on the subject and you're fully entitled to agree or disagree as you see fit.
Haha sorry about the long response, I didn't mean to practically talk your ear off there, but I just wanted to make sure that I answered your question and addressed your points in a thoughtful and honest way.

I only support Recolors when people are just using them to show their characters colors and designs, the time i don't support the recolors, is when they make everything about them and add themselves apart of the main characters lives

Ugh, well with any luck it'll just be a phase... as unlikely as that seems... 
I just don't understand the appeal of recoloring, I personally always find it much more fun to draw the art myself rather than tracing over a screen shot.
