Description
A big future event, in which all kinds of awful things happen; from Magi being kidnapped by a Zoroark assassin, to a gang from Lucian's past coming to seek their revenge on him, and now the announcement by the gang leader that he had poor Quincy killed. All this proves to be too much for Magi, who blames herself for letting herself get tricked by the Zoroark and leading her friends to launch a wide scale search party. This leaves Quincy to stay behind, in the hopes that if Magi returns on her own she won't have to return to an empty home. Unfortunately, Lucian's old gang takes advantage of all this and attacks Lucian's home, where Quincy resides, and while the Croagunk puts up the best fight he can manage, he gets overwhelmed and left in a near dying state. After Magi is found, and the shock of her evolution has worn off, Thane and Lucian take her to safety before finding out about Quincy's fate. The news strikes all of them to their core, even Thane- who initally denied the thought of being friends with the frog. When the villain flat out blames Magi for Quincy's death, the poor child bursts into tears, accepting this as a truth. In an enraged state, Lucian demands that Thane take Magi away to someplace safe while he deals with his old boss, and while Thane is tempted to reject and wants vengence as well, he quickly concludes that Magi comes first. He struggles to pull a sobbing Magi away, fighting his own urge to cry at the thought of Quincy being gone forever, and Magi eventually leaves with Thane before Lucian can completely go into a blood rage and rip his old boss to shreds.

Ah god, such a sad event, that leads to more sadness later on... but there is indeed a happy ending that I might delve into later through sketching.
