Awww Liz, don't feel that way, you've just gotta do more with your characters like make comics and different scenarios so that people can learn a bit more about their personality, then they'll want to ask more about them. It takes a long time and a lot of hard work to get original characters out there but it's well worth it in the end. You've got some great character designs and a very nice style, don't give up drawing them.
Set up some small goals and work towards them.
