In the world of Price of Peace/Price of Silence middle names aren't a thing outside of ranger families and the grand majority of the people have just a middle initial.
So rangers without a middle name will be gifted a codename based either on the initial or skillsets

Stormwalker here is Frostwalker's father and they are a ranger family and they tend to have "walker" as a signature to mark their family. As for Stormwalker we actually won't see him outside of backstory elements since he died during the war after an old injury that forced him to retire and the stress of knowing that his son who already lived through a bad experience could die or end up in a worse position than he was as a child ultimately killed him, the other noted fact was that he often worked alongside Xavier's mother and helped her through many dangerous situations before she prematurely retired when expecting Xavier's little brother since it would have forced her to be in a different region away from her family if she had stayed
