It‘s always sad to lose a close and loyal companion, but you never only lose one...you also make new bonds and friendships

That's why I decided to find one almost immidiately. I couldn't stand the pain of being all alone, expecting to see Sora in every place she was supposed to be...
Nothing will EVER replace her, but this one helps me with my depression a lot, he makes me smile and laugh and that's important.

Oh nothing can replace your most loyal friend
My old dog Douglas - an Old English Sheep dog aka Bobtail - died, when I was thirteen and our entire family was heartbroken. He sadly had back and heart problems and on the day of his death, he couldn’t even get up on his feet. So the best thing for him was to put him down. My dad went to the vet alone and I remember the moment clearly, when he walked back into the house and hanged the leash on the wall...my heart just broke.
We still had another dog, but we felt it wasn‘t the same.
He was and still is like a little baby brother to me and will always have the special place in my heart. He was a very lovely and loyal dog. Loved children and he protected us, no matter what. He would‘ve probably killed someone, who dared to harm me or my sister.

It didn't take long, maybe there was a deeper reason behind that, maybe a coincidence. Either way, he was there, he was perfect, and I couldn't wait anylonger.
Through the last week my hair actually started to grey, and the amount of grey hairs was shocking. I couldn't sleep without drinking myself to sleep, I had a breakdown after a breakdown.
He's helping... A lot. Nothing can truly numb the pain and nothing will EVER replace Sora, but he's doing one hell of a good job

Oh, dear! I have heard and seen that loads of stress makes your hair turn grey faster. I am 32-years-old and noticed my hair turning grey here-and-there 2 years ago. But it is no big deal for me, but still...
I am so glad you are healing little-by-little, thanks to your new little Fluff Baby you now have! And I also hope thanks to him, your drinking will also lessen with time.
