Thank you. These are first attempts at drawing Petrie, and since he's my second fave character, he'll probably be the only one that I'll be drawing till I find the courage to try some one else.

So who's your fave character? 
Petrie is the only character I can draw without a reference. He is rather easy compared to Cera or Ducky for example. He's one of my favourites as well

My favorite is Littlefoot. I think I may have had something of crush on him when I was little, too
I haven't tried to draw anyone else from the crew other than Petrie, but I can tell you; It won't be Littlefoot next on the to-draw list.

Actually, I may have lied about not drawing Littlefoot next. I am working on a sketch of him, and I have found that he isn't too difficult, so long as I've got good references on hand. But if he continues to be so freaking hard to color, I might not finish it.

Yeah, with good references to work with, he isn't that hard to draw. Since the colour he has in the movies is impossible for me to get with the pencils I do have, I coloured him brownish. I encourage you to finish it. Maybe just put it aside for some hours, a day or a few and continue later

The sketch is digital, so getting the colors wasn't as difficult as actually applying the colors to the sketch. I'm also having trouble with the shading. It's mostly because I'm trying to use a new coloring/shading technique, having the colors and shading on the same layer, and it's pretty frustrating.
I will try my absolute best to finish it, though, so don't you worry!
