Hello everyone. Yes I'm still alive, not as active as I want to be here at the moment, but such times happen now and then.Aaaanyway here's something I finished some time ago. It's a commission from Beth Bernobich (www.beth-bernobich.com ), a writer of fantasy, science fiction, and alternate history. She asked me do paint the cover of her new book. If anyone sees a resemblance in the dragon and composition here, then yes, this painting was meant to look a bit like "Beneath the Surface". Though I like the colors and especially the horns and scales way more than in my other painting.

Das Bild ist wunderschön geworden, die Farben passen toll zueinander und es sieht so mystisch aus. Besonders gefällt mir der "Backenbart" und wie er sich durchs Bild windet.

This is an amazing painting for a book cover. It reminds me of the covers I'd seen when I was younger, that really inspired me to pick up books. Paintings like these feel like they bring out the spirit of the story.
