Sketch commission for ElindielForestStar , featuring her original character Fitz. Since he enjoys taking care of the gardens himself, I thought that a king putting his crown with hands stained by soil would make an interesting vision. Probably my newfound joy for gardening has something to do with this, too... Hope you will like it!
(and I'm not sure this is 100% fitting for the character, but somehow I couldn't stop listening to it while painting)

I love the friendly mischievousness in his eyes. The hands on his crown make it seem like he is ready to take it off, toss it to one side, and start digging in the dirt.
