So here's my crappy entry for the Twist Fate contest.Β
I'd thought it would've been cool if Alice was the princess and Iracebeth (the Red Queen) to be the ...um... what is it called.... wanderer? Adventurer?
Also, there's Dina the cat and Nivens McTwisp the rabbit!
Idek how I know this stuff...

I'd not call it crappy at all. What drew me to this art was the primary confrontation at the center of the art, but the back ground of fractured greys just blew me away. It's sort of a web like, labyrinth like, wire cage like construct that really draws me into the art. Great job. Β Starlene

It makes me laugh that Iracebeth has a hand over her chest as if saying "me?" acting so innocent while Alice is taking control of her own mind, with a cute little kitty!!! I love the little white rabbit too, the animals are a nice touch ~

Really cool concept for an image and a story, after all if Wonderland is inside Alice's mind why wouldn't she be the ruler? I really like the way Alice is standing on the throne to be as tall as Iracebeth, and the expressions on their faces are really well illustrated

That's quite nice interpteration you have here! The coloring style suits perfect and the background pattern really adds up to an feeling of a picture. Overall, pleasant for eyes and well-composed piece~!

That's just Iracebeth, aka the Queen of Hearts. Sarah is just a minor character so I didn't draw her.

This entry is very beautiful and not in the least "crappy" although the sizing of your characters is a little awkward i think it fits, and i really like the outfits they're quite adorable. One thing that is a little awkward is that the hair on both the girls seems stiff maybe try and be a bit more, hmm loose with it? I don't quite know how to describe it but this piece is very beautiful and stands out from the crowd.

You know, there is legitimate psychological and literary analysis on Alice in Wonderland to suggest that the Red Queen/the Queen of Hearts is actually Alice's impish impatience and childish logic represented as a person. Β Hence why she's always making snap judgments instead of listening to her subjects like any DECENT ruler would. Β In other words, she is the core of Alice's wonderland and it would break down without her, which was disturbingly illustrated during the final battle of American McGee's Alice video game.
