I present another persona. "The Seer" is someone who helps others through tarot; I was really torn about what I wanted to use this piece for, and this was also the results from an event I attended a couple months ago, where I was reading patron's cards, it was a great event. I wanted to look as if I wasn't the usual image that people have in their minds about what a "tarot reader" or "Seer" looks like. Plus I had shot a modified version of this look with Jamie Velandra /Alluring Beauty Photography  a week or so after the event. There's a couple elements in this missing from what I had worn in person, but that's not important. In my mind, this character was a persona of some form of inner strength that I needed to summon within myself from the time this was taken. Part of why I decided to title it "Trials of the Seer", because this year has felt very trivial, but instead of crumbling, I keep getting back up, and stronger, and while I don't feel exactly unstoppable, I feel that I've gotten past many trials in my personal life, and there's always going to be more, but it's how you make the best of it that can help.
Fun fact, taking self portraits has become an encouraging challenge after losing my trigger remote a few months back, the plus side is that it's encouraged me to use any form of a mirror when it comes to my poses.
To some people, I would understand if instead of a seer they saw this as a personal take on Dragon Age's "Leliana" when I posted on my personal profile about this outfit, that was what a few friends though.
This edit actually went through about 6 changes before finally feeling "complete" (thank you to all of my friends who gave support and their opinions on the differences).
(Would you guys like to see the images that I had friends choose between? If so, let me know!).

The fun thing about this image, is that the roses were from my boyfriend, who also helped me get into tarot. It's something that I'm still learning about, and the more and more I learn, the more and more exciting it becomes.
The purpose of creating this was a way to help with my social anxiety that I can get when I'm out in public, creating a persona helps me feel more courageous to go out and enjoy myself instead of feeling like I look dorky, or that I'll stutter and embarrass myself.

It's always a treat when you finally become the subject of your camera again.

When I am? It's more of a rarity these days, but I try to make them otherworldly if I'm in it.

I should, but I feel like I set myself to a higher image of what I want to complete and fall short in this. I should, but I'm over critical of my work.

It isn't a crime to strive for something better, nor would you be the first artist to be critical of ones work :] Just don't be so hard on yourself that you lose sight of the beauty you create.
