I USED DIFFERENT LEADS OTHER THAN MY MECHANICAL PENCIL!
Yes, yes, laugh it up, but this is a huuuge step for me!
LOL anyway. I really want to improve, so I am trying out different leads and techniques. I think each portrait I do, I get a little bit better every time.
Still much improvement needed I know, but I have to start somewhere right?!

Wowee! That's some wild use of greylead, I love it! That is MAD! The depth is something I cannot do within pictures, and you seem to do it so naturally. I wonder how long it took you to complete this work of absolute ART!? I really enjoy looking at the lips, you have done them so perfectly! Also, I like how you did the hair, with all the individual strands! i cannot do hair, so i just do a big block of colour. Haha, this is impressive. You should be proud of this.
