I've been combing the depths of our Scratch accounts (and I'll comb through you and Haxy's DA accounts, if you don't mind) to recover the many iterations of Habbyburger (or Bobby the Happy Burger [who was male circa 2015])
We were fuckin wild back then, huh? not gonna lie I kinda miss those years..

I've done that myself many times already, in order to figure out what exactly I should be doing for these 'Classic' designs. Everytime I do another dive, I always end up finding a bunch of stuff I either forgot or never saw back then. It really does bring back a ton of memories- Some are wonderful, some are awful.Β
Speaking of discovering stuff, I guess Stingman and Hansel weren't the only two I managed to get confused with each other- I did the same exact thing with Happyburger and Bobby. Maybe I'm wrong on this as well, but I'm pretty sure they were separate characters (before I screwed-up and assumed they were the same). Supposedly, I just preferred Bobby's design because it actually resembled a burger and had a lot more going on with it. I eventually realized the mistake, and decided that maybe I could get the best out of both by fusing the two- Ending up with what's now accepted to be the modern HappyBurger.Β

at first i thought this was an ITD thing from the, er, for now i'll say the green one, the blue one, and the purple one, but, no!
This is a compilation of some edits i remember fondly from back in the day
i still think this was Decimate's best version of HappyBurger, the smaller eyes made more sense on the big head

Nope, this isn't an ITD thing, but I really ought to get around to drawing those characters one day, considering just how different they are from their typical appearances. Fortunately or unfortunately, ITD and FNaHG have much of the same roster.Β
This, however, is actually a tease to a project I've recently started working on again. I felt bad for only doing Classic versions of the "main" characters, and decided that everyone should be included into this wonderful mess I've forced upon myself.
Though they irked me at first, I've grown quite fond of all these old designs. I'm not sure how to describe it, but they've all got this unique charm to them that really just isn't there in later designs or renditions. I think you can really see we're I'm getting at with Happyburger here. Sure, she doesn't really look like a hamburger, but there's something oddly adorable about that fact.

As Decimate strives for a more coherent cast, it kinda does lose the charm of a million radically different OC's coming together under one roof. The lack of cohesive design really gives it the classic "collaboration between young friends" feel.
