The party meet their swamp neighbours when a band of Grung waylays them with entangling plants. It turns out the froghemoth they butchered was the 'Frog God' of the Grung. Rather than seeking vengeance, the small frogfolk are happy that their ravenous deity met a grisly end, to whom they no longer have to sacrifice their people. The Grung revere the party as 'God Killers' and gift them with a bird's head whistle to summon their aid anywhere in the swamp.
