After chasing away the rivals, Princess Lily looked at Shiitake.
“Do you know how long it took for me to get this right? Now it’s ruined! Dust everywhere… I can’t even…”
“Would you calm down? It’s only a bit of sand and dust, just do a quick spin and it’ll come off” The little fox used one of her back legs to scratch herself behind the ear to get some dust off herself. “If anything I could try to use my tail as a brush”
She slowly lifted her tail in an attempt to help the Petilil, however, as soon as she saw Shi’s dusty tail, she moved further away.
“I’m fine!”
“You sure? We could turn it into a game if you want?” A slight spark appeared in the fox’s eyes, but it quickly disappeared when Lily’s expression changed.
A cough from the Nuzleaf that stayed, watching the duo interact started feeling a little uncomfortable.
“Ehm, thanks for your help, I know you both just saved me, but I have a favor to ask…”

Moments later the duo followed the Nuzleaf and found themself in front of a giant oak tree. At first, it didn’t look like anything out of the ordinary, but the leaf Pokémon started climbing and the duo noticed a small house at the very top, hidden under the leaves.
Inside the house were a few light decorations, some hay in the middle, and a curtain made out of leaves. They had barely arrived before the Nuzleaf spoke and diverted the attention to the curtain, a Shiftry appeared and thanked the team for helping out, when he was told that they might help solve the dispute between the clans, he seemed opposed, but ended up explaining and allowing them to help with the clan’s backup.

“This is silly! Utterly stupid! Point me in the direction. I will teach this guy a lesson” Unsure if the hasty Petilil even saw where the Nuzleaf was pointing, she had already stormed off in what seemed to be a cloud of annoyance.
“So, should we play a game of something while we wait?” Shiitake sat down, thinking hard about which game they could play to pass the time, but the leader did not seem interested at all. “Oh! I know how about…”
Before she could finish her sentence, the leader grunted at her and stopped her right in her tracks, making her move away with a nervous and unsure smile on her face. “Please hurry back Lily…” She whispered very softly to herself.

Meanwhile, the Petilil floated toward the direction she was shown, mumbling rather annoyed to herself. She had never had any issues with others, so the whole situation seemed to trigger her in all the wrong places. A low-hanging leaf became a target for her frustrations and she attempted to headbutt it, however, the ‘leaf’ moved right before she could hit it.
Turning around she faced an exact doubleganger of the leader she had just met, though there was something off about him. The thoughts only occupied her for a split second before she remembered she had to scold someone.
“Listen here, mister! Whatever you think you’re gaining from lying or perhaps stealing this treasure thingy from your own brother. It has to stop… You are family and should behave as such. Do you have any idea what this could do to your relationship in the future? Do you really want that on your conscious?! Huh?!”
The Shiftry seemed like he wanted to defend himself, however, Lily did not give him an opening or even the chance to explain himself. She just kept on throwing whatever she could at the poor guy’s face.
