Oops....I dunno why I thought you were referring to that joker card I did. Musta got mixed up. Yeah, I saw this movie at the drive-in when it came out, and I wept. Spock was my favorite.

dam. very, very well done, great attention to detail and in my opinion one of the best scenes out of the movies.

A great piece of work

Thanks so much. And I agree, most memorable scene from the movie series--Loved it. I've always been a fan of Spock. He's the coolest. And I'm really looking forward to the new Star Trek movie as well, especially since Nimoy gets a cameo

I wasn't holding too much hope on the new movie but it's showing a lot of promise from what I've seen. though I have to agree Spock has always been one of my favorite characters but out of the original series how could you not love any of the characters they were all awesome.

It's awesome to meet a fellow trekkie and I'll definitely be going through your gallery more I saw a lot of stuff I liked. I plan on doing some star trek related things as well as soon as I can get everything on my new account in order

Yeah, doesn't seem to be too many Trek fans on this site, but I'll be looking forward to seeing your stuff. My gallery has mostly Buffy-related drawings in it, but lately I'm kinda burnt on drawing Buffy characters--Just a little sick of them. Buffy overkill I guess. Thanks again for taking the time to check out my stuff. Hope to catch 'ya later.

I noticed that too. that or maybe they just don't do a lot of trek work. I'd love to do a lot myself but lack of being able to draw makes that a little difficult. and no worries I think you have some really good work up there expect a watch from me if I haven't already

no problem I look forward to seeing more of your work. I actually just got two pieces up myself. both crap in my opinion since they were essentially stock pictures that I tweaked colour wise

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SarahSilva In reply to Midnight-Green [2008-12-07 10:15:10 +0000 UTC]

I thought they were cool--I've always been biased toward the color blue, so I like the blue one best. Never noticed how much ambiance a glass ceiling that lights up, can give a room--Gotta get one of those Lotta little detail in the background too. Did you use like a 3-d software? I've found in the past that I was pretty weak when it came to design/architecture...Just never knew how to give architecture a personality.

Midnight-Green In reply to SarahSilva [2008-12-07 10:28:34 +0000 UTC]

I wish I knew how to make those kind of sets. unfortunately it was just a stock shot I got off the net and I fiddled with things here and there. the color mainly. I'm actually working on a program that will allow me to create a ships bridge. but yeah the atmosphere when you tweak the lights gives a massively diffrent mood which is the general idea. I like the blue one myself since it was to be the original Night shift lighting on the USS Aeon

SarahSilva In reply to Midnight-Green [2008-12-07 10:37:02 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, lighting's always a deal-breaker when it comes to photos, paintings, etc--Really important. Good job--It's cool seeing what what it would have looked like.

thanks. I plan on cleaning it up a lot and if I can manage it design my own complete bridge

it will be but if I can get it to work it'll look like a cross between the NX-01 bridge and the Defiant bridge
