smoochy is holding umbrella
she wants to do hanami(flower ceremony in japan) but it is winter so she cant do that
thats why her face looks sad ( sorry for making her sad)
but if you realize, the umbrella has an illustration inside it
the illustration is spring ^^

Oh wow, I love this. The shading is dynamite, and that umbrella is to die for! I love the fact that even though its winter and everything dead, that it shows spring.
That background is amazing, the detail of the snow and those trees are great!
