Design and paint by myself.

I based my design off of my OC, Skuld ([link] )! Took me a few drafts but it was worth it. First I tried making it nearly like her, but her blue cheek and muzzle markings made it too cluttered. Also inspired by Miss Monster's original painted masks. When I first saw them I thought the wavy lips (and third eye) would interfere with the design. And it didn't make sense. But once I saw her painted masks and saw the mask IRL it made sense. Beautiful design. It really does make the design "hers" which is what she intended.

The mouth design was the hardest to conceptualize. I didn't want a fangy, scary, look. I also did not want it to look like I totally copied Miss Monster. The teeth design is based off of Mexican Sugar Skulls ([link] ). And the fox of Toyokawa Inari ([link] ). Love how it turned out. It's creepy because it has flat teeth but also silly because it looks like it's smiling/laughing. But in the end I also think in the end it has a Native American/totem ([link] ) feel to it. Which is fine too.
