I used 's AMAZING tutorial though! kdljflsdkf her style is pwnage...okay, maybe her tutorial is amazing to me partially because I've never seen that shading technique explained before, and couldn't figure it out XD *stewpid* but NOW I GET IT. I just need to get better now xD
EWPRETENDTHEBGISN'TTHERE. NORLY. not because it's blobby, but because it's the same frickin color as everything else D:<

yeah, I only had elements 2.0 for the longest time, but that was before I got my tablet so I don't really remember much about it... xD;

Well, my 4.0 is 'user friendly', which just makes it annoying. Other than that, it..uh..looks different, I guess. I didn't have my tablet when I had 2.0, but I think it's mostly the same. xD;

I followed :natsuki-suzuhara:'s tutorial (which was for OC) and just used the photoshop equivalent (the regular brush, and then the watercolor brush to soften the shading x33) and I forget what I did for the hair XD
