Near: "Your mom is so fat she doesnΒ΄t fit throw the door
Mello: *sniff* That hurts*
~Opening theme~
Near looks at a crying Mello. "I think I overdid it"
Near: Listen, iΒ΄m sorry. I acted like an idiot.
Mello: You sure did! You...You...Skeletor!
Near: Mello...
Mello: No!
Near approaches Mello and takes him his wrists.
Mello: *gasp*
Near: Now listen to me! We have to work this out! If we donΒ΄t we will...
Lady: *insert creepy scream here* Who are you?!
Mello: Ah, we are *sniff* detectives.
Near: We came to look for clues for Mister *insert name here* murder.
Lady: Do you have a Warrant?
Mello: Mhh, yes. I have it right...
Lady: Yes?
Mello turns his back to the lady. He tries desperatly to find the precious warrant.
Near: So...where is it?
Mello: It has to be here I...
Near: What?
Mello: The paper I handed you. It was the warrant.
Near: What? But I already ate it!
Lady: Where is the warrant?!
Mello: Excuse us. If you were nice enough to let him use your restroom I will be happy to give you the warrant.
The old lady takes a broom and stars to swing it furiously.
Lady: Get! Out! Of! My! HOUSE!
Mello: Run Near! Run!
Near: Throw the window!
Mello easily jumps outside but Near seems to have problems with this difficult activity.
Near: Help me!
Mello: This happens because you eat paper and play with your toys all day!
Near: Just shut up and carry me!

Yeah, getting fanart for a fanwork is one of the most flattering things somebody could do, I think. The other day :devToyAndChocolate: did a mini cosplay photoshoot with her brother as Near and her as Matt in poses based on "In Charge"!

i know what you mean. it really is awesome! but i think one of the best things about fanart or fic or whatever is that it really does inspire different ideas for different people. and i can definitely think of fanfics that i've wanted to illustrate, but was just too nervous to ask, or wasn't sure if the person was online anymore. maybe i should just suck it up and ask anyway

XD Really? Hehe! Well, I drew him in two sweet lolita outfits, so I can't talk much. 
Oh, ask! Or better yet, just draw them a pic and then send it to them. I've never once had anybody be anything but delighted to have a fanart drawn for their fanfic, seriously, and it's a great surprise when people draw me pics for mine. 
Also, sometimes when things are intimidating but you still feel the itch to do them, that means they're more worthwhile to do than the "easy" things! For example, it took three DA friends' pestering and two days of mustering courage before I managed to Note *White-Pegasus and request to use one of her photos for my stamp about albinism , but now that lots of people have faved it and commented saying they're glad somebody made albinism a stamp, it makes me glad I finally did it.
