FINALLY complete: Cover for 's totally rad fic Infinite Potential , which I cannot recommend highly enough. Her entire postseries canon is completely believable, painstakingly canon-compliant, with characters beautifully and insightfully developed, terrifyingly stressful suspense, awesome action and drama, hilarious and in-character dialogue, like what more can I say it's all so amazingly crafted I don't even. Probably my favorite fanfics ever, in any fandom I've taken part in. Go read them, go read them nooowanyway, this cover doesn't render super well as a thumbnail, but I hope you like it!

Ah I found the author and I realized "derp, I read Alibi without knowing what it was from", and then I just read Tales from the Phantom Planet and I just finished Infinite Potential and I'm on Weight of the World now and holy cow, these feels are going to kill me.

Yay, finished!
This is so gorgeous. Love the gorgeous rendering of CW's tower, the texture to it, those little ghostly details on the broken arch, the cool swirly mist...love that the eyes are in the mist, very scary and cool. Val and Phantom look great, of course, and I like that you settled on the stronger pose.
One thing I still don't like is the title; the 3D metallic look is neat and I know you said it has some in-story significance, but it just blends into the mist too much. Could you maybe make it a brighter green, like the color of Danny's shield, or give it a heavier shadow? Or maybe the mist itself could be a bit more transparent? Just my thoughts.
So glad to see this up and complete! You do such amazing work!

yeah, on and off i have been looking at it and wondering if i should forget about trying to make it look like ectoranium and trying it in red instead...blrgh. the shadow thing might be the better option once i get some time to fuss with it :\

Red would look awesome. Contrast and all that. Not to mention it would be a quicker fix than the shadow tweaking...

not necessarily, to change the color i'd mask a red Color or Hue or Overlay layer on the letters, and to darken up the shadows i would just need to copy the shadow layers, maybe put on some gaussian blur and/or set them to Burn to darken them up and spread them out. i'll probs try both just to see how it looks if i can find the time
