Description Just watched Baccano! and I swear, Netflix is going to be the professional death of me. It started out as just Czes and Ennis, but as usual, Isaac and Miria barge their way in, lol. This show needs more love.

characters property of whoever the heck owns Baccano!.

did you feel like the last episode trolled everyone who watched it?

ehm, to be honest I don't even remember what happened. All the episodes after the train gets to New York seemed kind of pointless to me the first time I watched it, and when I went back over the show to solidify my understanding of what had actually gone on in the plot I didn't bother watching them.

Oh yes... Isaac and Miria are ALWAYS excited. it's a pretty good series if you can stomach the insanely over-the-top violence... :S It's available on Netflix if you have it.

thanks!

Maybe I'll give it a try, then. Sometimes I prefer violence to be over-the-top - makes it feel less realistic and less scary, you know?

I suppose...I guess I mean not just the literal portrayal of violence, but the attitude about it in the show. There are at least three named characters I can think of off the top of my head from the show who definitely had pathological views on violence and killing, but they're not portrayed as bad per se. Idk, I very much enjoyed the story, but I definitely thought some of the underlying and not-so-underlying messages of it should be taken with a grain of salt, if that makes sense.

Oh, I see... I was thinking you meant, like "300" style over-the-top cartoony violence, excessive to the point of ridiculous. I'll keep your warning in mind if I decide to watch.

Ohhh, yes, Baccano being watched by one of my favourite artists! <3

I swear it outranks nearly every other anime I've ever seen. It's amazing. And your Czes is too adorable.

I love it too! I gotta admit I thought they went overboard with the violence, but the story and the way the show is put together is fantastic!
thanks!

Hell, yeah. Baccano's amazing, I watched it on Netfilx too. Czes is adorable, Isaac and Miria are hilarious and Claire is epic. Actually, they're all epic.

I gotta admit I'm really not at all a fan of Claire or Ladd, but yes, I adored Czes and got a real kick out of Jacuzzi too. I'm surprised there's not more of a fandom online!
