lovely! This is sort of a weird question, but what salt do you use? I've never been able to achieve so many textures like yours.

Ah... It will be hard to explain in English, I hope you'll understand XD
Just before doing my last 2 ponies, I used a very good sea salt, grey, big "grains" ? "cristals" ? I don't know how you call it. Not the powder one. But I don't know why, it was very messy. So much for the expensive salt.
I told my boyfriend to buy me some very cheap sort (still big grains), and he took a grey one again. I thought it wouldn't work, but it did (so, my last two ponies ^^). Still, I think, the cheapest, big and white one, is the best.
There is another thing to consider : not all watercolor pigments react well with salt.

Ah that's true, with watercolor it's always trial and error.
