I've been practising the HDR with my new camera... The skies are mental I was talking to the owner of this Springer Spaniel about the beauty of this area known locally as "The Knapps" the body of water being called "Knapps Loch", when I noticed her dog had been waiting patiently by the loch for her to launch the tennis ball into the water. Quick lens change, the tripod was already set up for a wider angle waterscape and lucky me, he stayed put long enough for me to take this picture.Related content

Yeah, the sky does look like the Vogon Constructor Fleet has arrived. This was my first attempt at HDR photography and I edited on an app I've never used since. I don't really like it now and I keep meaning to delete it and replace it with a new version, but I'm taking so many photographs these days I don't get around to it. About to have a week off and I intend learning some basic - intermediate photoshop techniques. Maybe I should start on the original of this photo. Thanks for your comments. x Sara

Looks like you are on another planet with tumultuous skies ready to reap us from this earth. Really cool capture, grainy though in the distance. I know getting colors strait can be tough especially now with HD and 4K.

Thanks, it's my first attempt at HDR photography, I think the sky's a bit dramatic, but it does show that with HDR, the process can pick up even more than the eye.
