Nobody should be able to control what you draw, how you draw, or what you like to draw, k?
Don't be afraid to express yourself, because in a society like this, you're expected to be the norm, you're expected to meet everyone's expectations, but honestly, what norm even is there.
This is DeviantART, not deviant-everyone's-the-same. This site was meant for you to be yourself and show who you are, and express your creativity and emotion. Yes, we do have limits, and yes, we should always abide by the rules. But if it's not hurting anybody, then why complain about it? Don't like it? Move on to something else! I've just been seeing so many fucking status updates about people being stressed, frustrated, and upset over trying to "be the norm". Well guess what, you're your own person. Nobody is controlling your amazing, creative hands that make your art have the special charm it has. If you wanna draw a dragon wearing high heels, go draw a fffffucking dragon wearing high heels. Imma be honest, I don't like stuff like fetish art and all that crap, but hey, at least I don't constantly shame and bash people for doing what they like.
Moral or the story, if you can draw what you like, let others be able to do the same.
Just please don't do anything that's illegal or actually hurts someone.

i hate that people still feel the need that they can't draw certain things they wanna draw because it's considered "cringy" or that they have to draw the same thing that everybody else is drawing in order to fit in with the majority.
cringe culture is dead and it should stay that way. draw whatever you want as long as you're not trying to intentionally hurting anybody, and draw the things that make you happy <3<3

This type of behavior in the art community could affect young or new artists as well, because they're going to be afraid to express themselves as an artist. I know it's affected me at least-
Nobody really seemed to be pointing out this kind of stuff, so I decided to make a quick PSA to remind people that hey! it's okay to be yourself! People just seem to be so judgmental these days, that it's pretty upsetting. Besides, if someone's art is bad now, check back a year later, and you might find yourself a surprise <3
