Love them, especially the puffy, pinky one! Her tail looks like whipped cream~ and I just love cheek spots.
As a side note- I tried SAI once before, too and hated it as well, haha. I use photoshop elements... it's simple and uncluttered and works for me! Is there a reason you're forcing yourself to draw in SAI if you don't like it? :<

Thank you!!
My favourite kind of artwork is always watercolour, with a storybook look, I love really soft delicate things. Sai is the only program I have that can do that, I can't afford Photoshop (though I think I have an elements that came with my bamboo). I know it's possible to make that kind of art in it, but I can't figure it out. I've tried tutorials and stuff, but it never looks how I want. There's too many variables to choose from, I just don't know how to get them to behave right. Like, I'm kinda happy with the colouring here, but not the lineart. But then my lineart in Gimp is always too thick and static, like boring. I want to mimic traditional art really badly. But I don't know how to watercolour traditionally anyway. And then I get nauseous headaches that last a day or two and make it impossible for me to draw. So frustrated.xD

I love the look of watercolors, too! It is hard to achieve that traditional look in digital works, especially making it look like paint. Off the top of my head, this tutorial comes to mind, maybe it will be useful to you. :3 bluekomadori.deviantart.com/ar…
Sorry to hear about your headaches. :< Hopefully they'll be less frequent for you!

Haha I was really tired when I posted this, so maybe more frustrated than I really was. I've tried that tutorial, I just end up changing things too much and never follow instructions exactly. Thank you so much for the help though! I just need to experiment with different brushes.
I just found out last night, after maybe 6 years of using Gimp, that I could make a keyboard shortcut to flip the canvas, just like in Sai, LOL. So slow to learn.

Thank you! I might have to make some others, in different flavours though, or a different species.x3
I want to like Sai, it does so many awesome things, but I just can't figure out how, and now I have a bad headache starting.xD I will keep trying for a few weeks at least, maybe some other tools will work better for me.

Either option sounds good to me. :'D
Aww, I'm sorry! I hope you feel better. Just use whatever works best for you!
I wish I had some advice, but I don't use SAI, so... xD
