I think black hair works well for Sauron too, particularly during his 'Annatar-phase' when Tolkien says he took the form of a Noldo Seems to work for me anyway, lovely interpretation!

I've always been more of a fan of dark haired depictions of Sauron. He certainly does have a determined look in his eye.

Beautiful and determined! This is a difficult subject, there are countless portraits that depict him but you've hit the mark! I like the features of his face, his expression and, in particular, the fact that you picture him with blacks hair!
