Such smooth painting and  i love the variation of tone in the browns, i find brown hard to work with.

Thank you, you're right, brown isn't the easiest color to work with, sometimes it's too staining and so one..:/

Tar-Meneldur is a very far ancestor of Aragorn. He was one of the last wise and rational kings of the Númenor Isle, which used to be a kingdom of Men, before it disappeared under the sea. For more information read the Silmarillion or Unfinished Tales
