Description Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Vs Dragon Ball

Connections :
•Two iconic and evil villains coming from famous Shonen series, who both also appear as the main antagonist of the third part of their stories (Stardust Crusaders of JoJo and the Cell Arc of DBZ).

•Both are in one way related to the main protagonist which are their main nemesis due to having something stolen from them relating to their biology (DIO has Jonathan's body while Cell has Goku's cells).

•Both were originally used by their horrible fathers with a relation with the main protagonists for their own personal benefits (Dario, who saved George Joestar, sending Dio to get the Joestar's fortune and Gero creating Cell to get revenge upon Goku), who would later die at the hands of their own creations (17 killing Gero and Dio murdering his father).

•By gaining something (The Stone Mask and the Z-Fighters and others' cells) they gained absolute power, making them one of the strongest foes in the entire series up to that moment, which was also gained from a preexisting antagonist with purple colors who the protagonists have faced and defeated them and left them on space (Freeza who Cell has his cells from was defeated by Goku and left on space after Namek's explosion {although he comes back later} and Kars who created the Stone Mask was outsmarted by Joseph and sent to drift space for all of eternity).

•They start the fight with a main protagonist (Jonathan and Piccolo) after the protagonists learned they sucked multiple innocents to amplify their strength, with contrasting results of their fight and with the combatants leaving (Dio defeating Jonathan and Zeppeli and leaving them to Tarkus and Bruford and Piccolo fighting and heavily damaging Cell albeit with some damage and Cell escaping with a Solar Flare).

•Due to something a sword wielding hero did (Jonathan defeating Dio and Trunks killing the Androids) their plans were temporalily cut short, but both would later kill both of these heroes out of surprise (Dio entering the ship Jonathan and Erina were in and later killing Jonathan and Cell killing Trunks off guard) and later would enter inside something and later wait for their reawakening to get a hold of the world again (Cell entering the time machine and later waits four years to awaken inside an egg and Dio entering the coffin and waiting a century).

•Once getting awakened, they leave the things they were on, and go away and cause slaugthering to get with their plans (DIO killing the sailors who discovered his coffin and later killing several people by sucking them up and Cell killing many innocents by also sucking them up).

•Once their presence is known, a group of friends and relatives (Z Fighters and the Joestar Group) go on to try to stop their mayhem.

•Their objective is to absorb something in order to gain absolute power (Joseph's blood and the Androids).

•They have some similar skills, such as great physical strength, sucking people to gain more power and both seemingly be unkillable due to their regeneration, albeit said regeneration has a draw back from their brains (If his brain is damaged, DIO will be horribly damaged and Cell's regeneration comes from a nucleus inside his head, that if it's destroyed makes him stop regenerating).

•After gaining a power (The World and Android 18), they finally gain the highest of their power at that moment, being considered invincible, with the protagonists having trouble with them at first.

•Both killed a green clad peaceful ally to the protagonist after shattering their body from their stomach region (Kakyoin and 16) after a failed surprise attack (Kakyoin's 20 meter Emerald Splash and 16's self destruct), although with their last struggle they manage to encourage their allies by saying something to them which would later help in their defeats (Kakyoin sending an Emerald Splash into a clock tower and revealing DIO's ability and 16's head being thrown to Gohan and saying to him to let it go before Cell stomps on him, which makes Gohan transform into SSJ2).

•After that, they fight with the angered main protagonist in an intense fight, with the protagonists managing to overpower them and enraging them in the process.

•They also manage to almost kill the protagonist, however with the intervention of an ally (Vegeta and Polnareff), the protagonist manage to stand up and deal a heavy blow on them (In DIO's case he was heavily damaged while Cell was completely blown away).

•They then later gain their absolute peak of power, managing to become as much as strong as the main protagonist (High DIO and Super Perfect Cell) with them feeling extremely prideful out of it and more arrogant of themselves than ever, which was the result of the death of a relative of their enemy (Goku's sacrifice which allowed Cell to learn Instant Transmission and gain a Zenkai and DIO killing Joseph and later sucking his blood after getting punched by Star Platinum), with both of these transformations happening after they were getting beaten up by the protagonist.

•With that power, they manage to start to overpower the protagonist while breaking their bones (Cell breaking Gohan's arm and DIO shattering Jotaro's bones) and to finish them they unleash a massive attack as their final attack (Cell's Solar Kamehameha and the Road Roller), and later even after getting damaged (Jotaro's overall damage and him getting blind from DIO's blood and Gohan's overall damage and him getting his arm broken), the protagonists still stand up to deal with their enemy with a technique (Gohan's Kamehameha and Jotaro's Time Stop) and countered them, before finally ending in them winning over the clash and the combatants explode with their defeats (Cell getting blasted by the Kamehameha and DIO exploding as a result of The World being shattered).

•Both are arrogant, bloodthirsty, sarcastic, manipulative and have god complexes, seeing themselves as perfect and humans as simply as toys to them, torturing them and killing them out of fun and to go futher with their plans. Both also often underestimate the power of their foe, joking about them when they start to win and get extremely angry once they start to lose against their foe.

•Both are also the reverse of their main enemy (Gohan and Jotaro), sharing some of their same abilities and skills while being completely evil and represents the evil side of them, and what they could do with their power, with both of them also being the return of a past threat (DIO coming back after a century to terrorize the Joestars and the world again and Cell being the almagation of several foes Gohan fought in the past).

•Additionally, both have similar color schemes (Mostly in black, yellow on their feet and head region, and some green around their bodies).

•Additionally, Norio Wakamoto (Cell's Japanese VA) also voiced DIO in the JoJo CD Drama.
