Inspired by the Forsworn, in Skyrim! I was very pleased with this one! ^_^ A happy little break, from my last piece.

Even if the Forsworn reclaim Markarth and the Reach, the Nords will just try to reclaim it again. It's just going to be a constant rotation of control, Forsworn reclaim, then the Nords reclaim, and it will keep repeating. The only way it will end is 1 side pretty much being slaughtered.

Woohoo, more Forsworn! Pretty good adaption here, captures the feel nicely. I quite like the Forsworn, and it's totally due to their plight and personality, and not the skimpy outfits the ladies run around in.

Yup...nothing says "sympathetic, likeable, totally-not-evil-psychotic-and-depraved faction" like human sacrifice, worshipping hagravens, wearing skulls on belts and indiscriminately murdering anyone in the Reach who isn't one of them.

It's been a few years, but IIRC, their original complaints were quite justified. I wasn't excusing everything they've done since then, but they had a legitimate claim to the land, ruled peacefully over Markarth when given the chance, and were then rather brutally ousted from it by Ulfric Stormcloak.
Secondly, I was partly joking, because their outfits are quite awesome, hahah.

Fair enough. IMO they had (past tense) a legitimate claim but the forfeited any right they had to legitimacy when they started indiscriminately attacking people. Also we only have Arrianus Arius's word that they ruled Markarth peacefully, and his writing style indicates he is far from neutral. I'm not saying it's impossible that they were peaceful but given what I've seen of the Forsworn in game...let's just say I'm disinclined to believe it.

I love Dragonlance. I've only read one as I borrow them from my aunt who lives further away but those are really good.
