One of this years paintings which, i decided to do after i had watched the much inspiring "memoirs of a geisha". Totally influenced by Japan i couldn't resist not doing a painting of the completely interesting world of the geisha. ^_^Related content

But "Memories of the Geisha" are a bit of a Hollywood spin off. I can offer you an advice.
Nagai Kafu "Udekurabe" (Geisha , or Geisha in rivalry). The story is very beautiful, sad, humane and more authentic.
