Description
A collab with my sister to celebrate the new year, (although my part is a little bit late)She drew the base sketch and I painted the rest, a lot of which I have never painted before (scales, feathers, detailed rocks, detailed mountains).
Total working time, just over 25 hours of painting over two weeks
I may have overcomplicated it a bit, she said simple >^/,/^<
I also recorded a speedpaint of this very tedious dragon X3

oh my god! this is amazing!!! I completely understand why it took so long! All the details on the scales... the ground....the mountains! And I can totally relate to the weather/climate, too xD
I love the wings, as well, but I think there might be a bit of shading missing; everything looks very similar in colour values (in the wings)
Altogether amazing work, I love what you did with the sketch! The only thing that gets to me is why a very grassy and watery dragon would be somewhere so cold... you'd think that the leaves would start to die out and that the water would freeze. Oh well, it still looks very comfortable in it's environment ^^
