Maglor always seemed like such an unfortunate and sad character.Another in the series of my portrayals of the heroes of The Silmarillion.

Thank you! Maglor is one of my favourite characters. I imagine him to know about Maedhros and Fingon's relationship, being their confidant.

I must confess I once imagined a Maedhros/Maglor/Fingon threesome...with Maedhros and Fingon as lovers who felt Maglor is kinda lonely, so they took him in

Btw, I have a Maedhros/Fingon WIP that I want to finish soon. IΒ΄m just rarely satisfied with the results.

Yeah no kidding...I saw one recently that ended up with Fingon like...leaving, and Maedhros realizing he actually loves Maglor, and I was just going "....wtf??"

Ooh. :3 Fingon is pretty. I take it this is pre-Thangorodrim, since Maedhros has his right hand. XD I still love how you shade faces and skin. I think Maedhros' left eye (right side of picture) is a little too far from his nose though (which can probably be fixed in PS really easily XD I wish I did digital art, I'd kill for an undo button for paper...XD). Also, I think Fingon is missing a thumb. XD Other than that it looks awesome, I can't wait to see it done.

Thanks for the con-crit. It's still very much in progress. I will try moving the eye a little. As with hands, I usually end up having to photograph my own hand and then drawing over it. For example in my full body picture of Fingon in armour, his left hand is the exact copy of mine XD.
I have bought a tablet about two years ago and I love it. It's different, but the undo button and layers trully come in handy.

You're welcome. ^^ Only other thing now that I look at is that there's something a little off with Fingon's right (left in picture) shoulder, and where it meets his neck. I'm not sure how to describe what it is though. Haha, hands are the bane of my existance (aside from backgrounds), I freaking hate them. XD This- [link] took me MONTHS just because of Maglor's hand, and I'm still not satisfied with it. >_< I made my roommate sit there and pose her hand for like an hour the day I finally finished it.
Tablets are fun, I'm just no good doing anything very involved digitally aside from flat coloring. I just like the feel of pencils or markers in my hand.

I like the way you draw hair
I used to draw with pencils a lot. This picture of Glorfindel and Ecthelion was drawn by hand years ago, it is still somewhere in my gallery. I just colored it in PS. But lately I draw everything with the tablet.

I like drawing faces the most...and clothes...
but I am not good at drawing bodies without reference. I take pics of myself with a webcam or make a friend pose. I wish I was able to draw without needing all that.

Backgrounds are not easy, also I really suck at perspective. hahaha, I usually avoid drawing backgrounds.

The only backgrounds I draw are trees and snow and skies and stuff like that. XD Almost never interiors, just too much of a pain in the ass. XD

My worst enemy is lighting and shades. I can shade stuff, but I'm sure it's incorrect in most cases and it I should do it on the background too, it would be even more obvious, lol.

Hahahaha, me too. I never even bother with lighting that makes sense because I just don't want to deal with it. XD
