SAMSON! The big, fluffy Spinosaurus!

HE'S ALIVE!!

If velociraptor had feathers, I have FUR!

I never did something like this before. The only sculpture I've ever made that wasn't out of clay and broken within 30 seconds was a very tiny spinosaurus when I was about ten years old.

This "little" fella (yes, he's about eight times smaller than the real spinosaurs were) is 220cm long, the sail height is 118cm, head height about 100cm (not sure) and his chest and shoulders are 27.5cm wide.

My last school project. Everyone was out somewhere doing something elsewhere and I just sat in the cellar, working like a donkey.

I painted him with spray paint, a blue one and a marmor effect paint for the belly. The black stripes were made with a glossy black spray, the same that I used for the claws which are made of artificial clay just as the teeth. The eyes are removable so I can place them the way I want. They glow in the dark! Tna also the body has some glowing paintings. For example a thick mark on both sides of the head right underneath the eyes, some spots on his sail and his neck and some stripes on his arms and tail. the legs got less glowing paint. But he looks so terrific when seen in the twilight!

My mother had the Idea with the grass. I didn't want to give him talons cause they would probably only break off. He's standing in my room now, my little blue guardian.

Well I hope you like him! If you want to pet him, you better feed him some fish first
